Hello world

I appreciate that 'Hello world' is by far one of the least original openings to a blog, possibly ever. But right now I am feeling fully thrown into the proverbial headlights, with nowhere to hide bar my attempt at simple wit. 

Right then, introductions time...

My name is Matthew Smith, I'm 20 years old and currently living in Brighton, England. I'd like to show you how I look, but the most recent pictures of me feature a very bald looking chappy, who's forehead is dominated by a mole bigger than the state of Luxembourg. 

I am starting this blog, because I've always quite fancied myself one with the words. I'm going to try and talk about interesting stuff. Albeit, my life is very mundane. I'd say my top hobbies involve eating and sleeping, but they're an art in themselves. To try that little bit harder to hook you folk in, I'll confess that I do in fact intend to review, critique and just downright Katie-Hopkins-Bitch-Slap music, films, books, restaurants, politics, travels, magazine articles, fashion trends, celebrity cultures and anything else that I feel deserves my attention. 

Right, enough waffling from me, time for me to attempt to actually 'blog' (I enjoy that blog is a verb in our society) and hopefully entice some of you into actually coming back to this webpage you probably found whilst looking for something else.
